Is there a place for ethical behavior when trying to survive?  Can survival have an ethos of it’s own or are the two terms mutually exclusive?

It’s just that sort of question that really burns my butt!  I can imagine the next question from the emancipated and over-educated left;   Is it politically correct to shout obscenities at someone who is eating your cat? Or do you ask politely for your own portion?

What is going to happen to all the people who have never had to deal with any kind of hardship when the shit hits the fan?  Say, for instance, that tomorrow most of the world is engulfed in a biological catastrophe that kills forty percent of  the population.  I’m talking about the industrialized, first world population, the folks that normally would pick up the pieces when a disaster strikes.

Then of course,  since there would be total chaos,  total absolute breakdown of society and the ensuing famine and disease and deprivation, where would the people who have forced political correctness on us be?

In the total breakdown of society,( and don’t kid yourself, I’d bet that it would take less than killing 40% of the population to create total anarchy), do manners and political niceties have a place?  Is this a question to ponder or is it just my sick, twisted sense of humor?

I’d say it was a little of both,  being politically correct has literally been jammed down our collective throats by the media resulting in ridiculous lawsuits and a twisted, sick society that is more interested in a possible insult than a possible cure for the problem.

If  I don’t want to serve a person at my restaurant that can’t order in the English language that should be my right not the customer’s.  It’s my place to do with as I please, right?  This is America, right?

Whoever let our contemporary American culture get this way ought to be shot!  Here’s where you are supposed to ponder,,,,,,had enough time?  It’s all of us!  All we can do is try to raise our children the way we think is right, this is a job for the parents not the schools who have become so strangled by correctness that they no longer function as intended.

When the shit hits the fan it will all come back to the family, the small group, the clan, the neighborhood at the most.  Ethics will be a local, very local and personal determination by those involved, not the media and the Marxist, left -wing liberals who want to dictate to other people how to live their lives.

There will be no room in a survival situation to even consider ethical or politically correct possibilities, it will all boil down to who lives or dies;  Me or You?
